Melies d’argent winners at Lund 2017

This year’s winners:

 

 

The Melies d’Argent for best european fantastic feature film was awarded to the german film Snowflake. The jury’s motivation:
“An utterly innovative and entertaining meta tour-de-force that takes us on a voyage through a dystopian future that hits close to home. A tale told with both heart and depth that showcases a stellar ensemble. We’re still reeling from the ride!”

The jury also awarded a special mention to Into The Forest

The Melies d’Argent for best short was awarded to the swdish film Dreamlife:

“A perspective of motherhood rarely portrayed elegantly spun into a creepy tale where realities clash.”

 

 

 

 

The audience awards went to Saving Sally for feature and Orient City for short
