Melies d’argent winners at Lund 2016

Let us present to you the winners of the Méliès d’Argent competition at Lund International Fantastic Film Festival 2016:

The Feature film Méliès D’argent went to Dan Pringle film K-Shop with the jury’s motivation:

A bizarre and deeply disturbing confrontation with a violent racist society, a story that keeps evolving, and with excellent and realistic acting from the main character down to the extras.

The short film Méliès D’argent went to Macabre, with the motivation

A dark and evocative surreal animation with Kafkaesque references and an intense score.
