The winner of the Méliès d’Argent Award for Best Fantastic Genre Feature Film at the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival is “The last spark of hope” by Piotr Biedron (Poland, 2023).

Méliès d’argent Award Winner – Short Films @ Science+Fiction 2023
The winner of the Méliès d’Argent Award for Best European Fantasy Genre Short Film at the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival is “What-If-I” by Lavinia Tommasoli, Pietro Traversa (Italy, 2023).
What-if-I: an app that lets you see what your life would be like today if you made a different choice yesterday. An amusement for some, an app of regret for many.
The competition is organized in collaboration with the Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF). The winners of the competitions also win the nomination to the Méliès d’or annual competition.
