The winner of the Méliès d’Argent Award for Best European Fantasy Genre Short Film at the Molins de Rei Horror Film Festival 2023 is “Measure” by Julia Cranney and Helen Simmons (UK, 2023, 13 min).
The horror of Jen’s teenage past catches up with her when she takes her autistic son to a birthday party in her hometown.
The competition is organized in collaboration with the Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF). The winners of the competitions also win the nomination to the Méliès d’or annual competition.
