Méliès d’argent Award Winner – Short Films @ LUND 2023
The winner of the Méliès d’Argent Award for Best European Fantasy Genre Short Film at the Lund Fantastic Film Festival 2023 is “Feeder” by Andrzej Danis. (Poland, 2023, 19 min.).
Ziggy is a teenager suffering from bulimia. One day, he’s being told by his father that he needs to be sent to the hospital. He decides to prevent this and finds allies in his cause. However, in the meantime, he discovers that something dangerous lives inside of him, something that wants to come out at all costs. Will he be able to hide it any longer? The film is a horror-coming-of-age story.
The competition is organized in collaboration with the Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF). The winners of the competitions also win the nomination to the Méliès d’or annual competition.
