Méliès d’argent Award Winner – Short Films @ HARD:LINE 2024
The winner of the Méliès d’Argent Award for Best European Fantasy Genre Short Film at the HARD:LINE film festival is “Pesudo” by Miquel Díaz Pont (Spain, 2023, 21 min).
Pesudo, a young man with a facial malformation, works at a robotics and artificial intelligence factory. One afternoon, while cleaning, he starts to feel a strange connection to a new robot currently under development.
The competition is organized in collaboration with the Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF). The winners of the competitions also win the nomination to the Méliès d’or annual competition.
