Méliès d’argent Award Winner – Short Films @ GRIMMFEST 2023
The winner of the Méliès d’Argent Award for Best European Fantasy Genre Short Film at the Grimmfest Manchester 2023 is “There are no ghosts” by Nacho Solana (Spain, 2022, 15 min.).
Andrea is a young woman with a special function. When somebody feels some paranormal phenomenon at home, she is the only one who can clear it up. But on each visit Andrea always insists: There are no ghosts. Those are the echos of someone who was among us once.
The competition is organized in collaboration with the Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF). The winners of the competitions also win the nomination to the Méliès d’or annual competition.
