The winners of FANT BILBAO 2026
The 32nd edition of FANT Bilbao has officially come to a close, unveiling the complete list of award-winning films from this year’s festival.
Once again, FANT Bilbao celebrated contemporary fantastic cinema through a programme that brought together emerging voices, established filmmakers and audiences from across the genre community.
And the winner is…
Méliès d’argent Award Winner – Short Films @ FANT BILBAO 2026
The winner of the Méliès d’Argent Award for Best European Fantastic Genre Short Film at FANT BILBAO is “Lo que te falta” by Sara Bermejo (Spain, 2025)

FANT BILBAO is part of the Méliès International Festivals Federation, an association currently consisting of 35 film festivals, whose mission it is to promote European fantastic cinema around the globe. The Méliès d’argent is awarded to short films for cinematic quality and creativity. The winning short film qualifies for the competition for the Méliès d’or.
