The winner of the Méliès d’Argent Award for Best European Fantasy Genre Short Film at the Fancine Malaga 2024 is “To bird or not to bird” by Martín Romero (Spain, 2023, 9 min).
In a world dominated by humans, birds seem to have adopted their same habits, worries and unhealthy obsessions.
The competition is organized in collaboration with the Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF). The winners of the competitions also win the nomination to the Méliès d’or annual competition.
