The winner of the Méliès d’argent at Lund Fantastic Film Festival 2021

Motivation:
“The peculiar mixture of the fantastical and documentary makes this story resonate with the jury. Despite its episodic structure it never loses focus and the filmmakers have created an artistic expression that encapsulates all their different fantastical storytelling skills without feeling excessive. By combining fantastic elements with the documentary subject they embody the emotional struggles that are both deeply personal and truly universal.”
