MIFF welcomes Ramaskrik and Offscreen

Méliès International Festivals Federation welcomes Ramaskrik and Offscreen as new members

The Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF) has the great pleasure of welcoming Ramaskrik Film Festival (Oppdal-Norway) as competitive and Offscreen Film Festival (Brussels-Belgium) as supporting new members.
Fantaspoa, the International Fantastic Film Festival of Porto Alegre – a former supporting member – will also become a competitive member.

So, next year Fantaspoa and Ramaskrik will run the short film competitions for the Méliès d’argent for the best European short film.

About Ramaskrik
Ramaskrik is a horror film festival nestled in the mountains of Central Norway. Set against the backdrop of towering peaks famous for “trolls,” sheep, and musk-ox, we create the perfect atmosphere for screening international films, festival circuit highlights, Norwegian premieres, short films, work-in-progress sessions, and four days of bone-chilling fun in Oppdal. What sets Ramaskrik apart is its unique location and the fact that most attendees travel to Oppdal. Once you arrive, you’re immersed in the festival experience until you depart—a sense of community that both our audience and invited film guests appreciate.
