HARD:LINE Selection 2026

The 13th edition of the HARD:LINE Film Festival will take place in Regensburg, Germany, from 16 to 22 April 2026, continuing its commitment to bold and uncompromising genre cinema.
A member of the Méliès International Festivals Federation, HARD:LINE once again hosts the Méliès d’Argent competition for Best European Fantastic Short Film, presenting a selection of European short films competing for a place in the annual Méliès d’Or competition.
Known for its focus on extreme, daring and boundary-pushing cinema, HARD:LINE remains a key platform for discovering new voices in European fantastic filmmaking.

These films represent some of the finest examples of European fantastic cinema, competing for recognition within the Méliès d’Argent network. Winners will later compete for the Méliès d’Or at Sitges 2026.
