Grossmann Selections 2026

The 22nd edition of the Grossmann Fantastic Film and Wine Festival will take place from 8 to 12 July 2026 in Ljutomer, Slovenia, continuing its unique celebration of fantastic cinema and wine culture.
Founded in 2005 in the birthplace of Slovenian cinema, Grossmann has established itself as one of the most distinctive genre festivals in Central Europe. Since 2010, the festival has been a member of the Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF), contributing to the promotion of European fantastic cinema through the Méliès d’Argent competition.
Known for its bold, transgressive and unconventional programming, Grossmann remains dedicated to films that challenge conventions and push the boundaries of genre cinema.

The winning short film will receive the Méliès d’Argent Award and qualify for the competition for the Méliès d’Or, the Federation’s highest distinction for European fantastic cinema.
