Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival 2026: Méliès d’argent Competition Selections

FEFFS 2026 POSTER

The Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival returns for its 19th edition from 25 September to 4 October 2026, bringing ten days of cinematic discovery to one of France’s major platforms for fantastic cinema.

The festival focuses on new international productions across fantastic cinema, while also embracing thrillers, noir, black comedy, video games and virtual reality, alongside retrospectives and events dedicated to cinema heritage.

As an Affiliated Member of the Méliès International Festivals Federation, Strasbourg is the only festival in France to organise both the Méliès d’argent Feature Film and Short Film competitions. The winners will qualify for the Méliès d’or competitions, presented at a designated MIFF festival.
