Statement
When the outside world seems threatening, the longing for safety and normality can have sinister and corruptive effects on human behavior. This film skillfully portrays a situation where such longings become destructive and normopathic. It is a thought-provoking and masterfully executed debut feature.

The competition is organized in collaboration with the Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF) and the award goes to the best European short film. The winner of the competition also wins the nomination to the Méliès d’or annual competition.
